Our nutmeg (a.k.a. jatikka in Malayalam) is derived from seed of the nutmeg tree grown in Wayanad, Kerala. It has plenty of antioxidants, works as an antidepressant, assists digestion, can be used for stomach spasms and joint or muscular pain and as an ingredient in cosmetics and is also an important ingredient in garam masala.
